Battery balancing includes two types, one is passive balancing and the other is active balancing.

Passive balance: Connect it in parallel with the two ends of the battery that needs to be balanced. When the voltage of the battery rises to a certain set value due to charging, the start switch tube will turn on the discharge resistance, and the excess power will be in the form of heat. Loss, but there are certain unsafe factors, which are not conducive to energy saving and environmental protection, are not suitable for the use of high-power battery packs, and are only suitable for charging equalization.
  
Active balancing is a kind of battery balancing that has developed rapidly in recent years. Its principle is to return part of the high-voltage battery to the battery circuit or directly to the low-voltage battery through a conversion device. The energy storage components used are mainly capacitors or Inductance, through repeated charging and discharging of capacitors or inductors, the basic balance of the battery voltage in the battery pack is achieved.

   Then why should the battery be balanced?
  
  car battery balance solution: Because each battery cannot be exactly the same, its internal resistance and capacity are different, when used in groups, it must be balanced to prevent damage to the battery pack.

  3. Timing, sequencing, separate detection and uniform charging of the single batteries in the battery pack. When charging the battery pack, it can be ensured that each battery in the battery pack will not be overcharged or over-discharged, thus ensuring that each battery in the battery pack is in a normal working state.
  
  4. Using the time-sharing principle, through the control and switching of the switch components, the extra current flows into the battery with a relatively low voltage to achieve the purpose of balanced charging. This method is more efficient, but the control is more complicated.
  
5.car battery balance solution: Take the voltage parameters of each battery as the object of equalization, so that the voltage of each battery is restored to the same. During equalizing charging, the capacitor is alternately connected to two adjacent batteries through the control switch, accepts the charging of the high-voltage battery, and then discharges to the low-voltage battery until the voltages of the two batteries tend to be the same. This kind of equalization method better solves the problem of battery voltage imbalance, but this method is mainly used in occasions with a small number of batteries.
